Peshawar school attack: Imran khan postpones Dec 18 nationwide shutdown

PESHAWAR: As death toll from Peshawar school attack sends shock waves across the country, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Tuesday decided to postpone his party’s nationwide shutdown scheduled for December 18,

At least 120 people, mostly school students, were killed when armed gunmen stormed the school building located on Warsak Road.

PTI chief Imran, while speaking to the media, condemned the brutal attack and said his party will not go ahead with his decision to shut down the entire country.

Imran had announced to ‘paralyse’ Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore and then the entire country as part of his ‘Plan C’ to put pressure on the government for an audit of 2013 general elections.
